"We had some initial reservations about working on so complex a boat with a yard both new to multihull building and located so far away. We needn't have worried. Boatspeed's huge experience (together with bit of help from modern communications) was such that we were immediately impressed when we finally saw the finished product.  A much closer inspection of the boat from end to end revealed nothing but the highest standards of care and attention to detail throughout.

Add to this the fact that 'Castorama-B&Q' was built on a timescale several months shorter than the nearest equivalent boat in Europe and it is obvious that this is not the last we shall hear from Boatspeed when it comes to high performance multihulls."  

 

TO ALL AT BOATSPEED:

The guys we met from the yard during the launch Raz-ma-taz will know already how enthusiastic we all are about the job you guys have done on Ellen’s boat.

So, for the benefit of the others, I’ll just repeat that we were blown away by the standard of work turned out by the yard.  You may have heard that Benoit and John spent a few hours visiting some of the very darkest corners of that boat and they came out agreeing that they couldn’t find a single example of anyone having given in to dust and summer heat and left a ‘good enough’ job behind them.

And all that done in a timescale that is without precident in the multihull building world in Europe.
