CustomPreg®
To move away from generic prepregs, the Boatspeed team developed CustomPreg®, an in-house computer controlled impregnation system that applies resin into fibres used in construction.

Drape-ability, the advantage of “slip” allows for conformation to the compound curves associated with hull shapes to allow for consistent fibre tension without cutting or creasing as is required with proprietary prepregs.

Please note: we also use "off the shelf" prepregs at the client's request. Telefonica Movistar is a great example of a Boatspeed yacht built using a prepreg resin system.
