Maxi Build Team at Boatspeed:

Now the boat is
almost finished and the keel is on and the rudder installed here in NZ
it is time to reflect on the whole build process, how the project
unfolded and the outstanding performance of the team at Boatspeed.

As some of you will
know we were planning to build this boat at another Australian boat
building facility and at the insistence of Peter and particularly Sari I
was convinced that the Boatspeed facility HAD to be inspected.

It is easy to say
“the rest is history” but the reality is very different. The commitment
shown by the build team Boatspeed was outstanding, the constant
attention to detail and quality of the finished product was unerring.
What perhaps impressed us the most was the way in which every challenge
was approached from several different ways and that lateral thinking was
the norm as opposed to the exception. In this way this unique and
innovative racing yacht was developed into the excellent example we have
today.

I would have no
hesitation in bringing our next project straight to the team at
Boatspeed Performance Yachts because we could be sure that the bar would
be raised again and we would continue to be impressed and satisfied by
the outstanding product that this team has again demonstrated it
produces.

It only remains for
the team at SYS to thank the team at Boatspeed for giving this project
the best possible start with an awesome boat ready to take on the
challenges ahead.
