i want to test both in tank pumps on my ford econoline van (dual tanks). I have two low pumps inside the tanks and one hi pump on the frame rail. What I want to do is first take the external pump and run wires to the electric connectors REVERSED (meaning placing the neg wire of a batt to the pos of the pump and pos of batt to neg of pump) to unstick it.

The fuel in the pipes might evaporate which might mean you will need to let the fuel pump build pressure first and in rare cases you may need to prime the system but I think you will be fine
